Viaduct
The bottom of the Georgia Viaduct. There is a skateboard park in this spot; due for a fix-up. There is talk that the structure itself will be torn down as it's regarded as an left-over eyesore from the days when Vancouver was fixin' to build freeways everywhere. Ah the seventies...

Sucktional Phalanx
A row of vacuum cleaners near a car wash on Vancouver's east side. The car wash was still open but as it was fairly late no one was sucking up winter dirt. In order to get a small aperture (and a long depth of field) I had to go for a long exposure. I had a fairly long and heavy lens so I had to shoot this a few times as it was a bit breezy and there was a bit of camera shake on previous shots.

False Creek 1.2
Black and white at night. Very long exposure on this; 78 seconds. At this time of day if you get the lights of the towers plus some colour in the sky. In the case the colour of grey.
